Next Generation Sequencing Platforms

Oct 17, 2009: GENDIA now offers a next-generation sequencing  platform for the molecular diagnosis of Catecholaminergic Polymorphic Ventricular Tachycardia (CPVT) with complete sequencing of the following 2 genes:

  • Cardiac ryanodine  receptor channel (RYR2 gene with 105 exons) for CPVT1
  • Calsequestrin (CASQ2 gene with 11 exons) for CPVT2
The price for the analysis of the 2 genes (116 exons) in a single sample is 2800 Euro.
Once a disease-causing mutation is identified, family members can be screened for that mutation at 250 Euro.
